So I’m a little over halfway done with September’s list, which I really need to get hammered out before our RSVP deadline (October 15) when the real fun starts. I plan to crank out a lot of these items this weekend. See you next Saturday with another weekly update! (or Monday for the normal blogging..)

I would like you to know that I too wanted to measure my reception venue to draw a floor plan for seat assignments. The manager of the place told me I was crazy and needed to calm down, lol! It’s actually what I needed to hear though. I was getting so wrapped up in everything that I was forgetting the important part of it all. I took a step back and calmed down. I didn’t even end up doing seat assignments, ha! Not saying you are crazy or anything, but just know that it’s ok to let go a little. Especially on the wedding day!

I know what you mean.. the only reason I measured our floor plan is because the space is kind of tight and I know I can’t be there that morning to oversee things, and I don’t want to be bothered that day so I just want it to be easy for everyone else. That way I can just sit back, relax, and enjoy what the day is really about. I’ve already let go of a lot of ideas because there just isn’t time, and honestly no one cares haha! We are required to do seating assignments because it’s a seated meal (not buffet) and the caterer needs to know where all the vegetarian meals are going vs. chicken, etc. Plus it helps with awkward family drama too ;)
