And now for the rest of September’s items I hope to accomplish:

- Finish filling out packet for scripture, readings, vows, etc. and meet with the church to finalize choices. We’re only about 1/2 way through.. this sucker is involved!
- Figure out what the flower girl is carrying. We can’t throw things. Boo. Ideas?

- Get wedding rings engraved. Still don’t know what do do on this one because my band is so teeny.
- Finalize song list for ceremony. Almost done!
- Finalize key song choices for reception (first dance, etc.). We have all but the mother/son, and last dance.
- Send Lynsey a list of must have photos. This list is done, just need to go over it with Derek.
- Design menus. Waiting on caterer to give me the deets.

- DIY escort card station with remaining flowers from centerpieces
- Reschedule dress fitting for October 6th
Needless to say, I haven’t gotten much done for September, and these items are driving me bonkers! I was sick all week with allergies though, so that’s my excuse! If only I had my mom here to help me :) I plan to crank out a lot of these items this weekend. See you next Saturday with another weekly update! (or Monday for the normal blogging..)

You really do not need even one more thing to do…but just in case it might be helpful…I made my wedding veil and was really pleased with it. Took me less than two hours and most of that was sewing a million beads onto the gathers at the comb, which you might not even want. I had an old Butterick pattern, and the comb, tulle and beads were probably less than $5. I knew what I wanted from trying on all the $$$$$ ones.

Never mind. Thought that was still in the to-do list. I’m going to blame it on my phone.

Well I found one on etsy a few weeks ago and bought it, ad eventhough the seller has 100% positive feedback she hasn’t responded to any of my messages or contacted me at all about my purchase and it’s making me a little nervous. I’m thinking of canceling.. I wanted I make my own on the first place after trying a bunch on that were $200+ and I know that tulle is like .99c a yard lol it just seemed so ridiculous! Would you mind sending me photos of yours so I can see if it’s similar to my style? Or help me find a tutorial? All the ones I’ve found on pinterest and whatnot are very.. complicated or really over the top. Any help you could give me would be wonderful bc stressing about this mystery etsy purchase has me sweating bullets! Lol :)

We aren’t allowed to throw things either so our flower girl is carrying a little wooden ring that I tied a bunch of ribbons to. There is a picture of one on my Pinterest wedding board! Hope that helps! I also am in the process of making my own veil and garter to we can compare notes!

Oh cute! I just saw it :) I was thinking something with ribbons for her to carry too! I bought some stretchy lace to make my garter, but I have NO idea what to do, and we have the same garters saved so I’m very interested to see how you’re making yours. Also your veil! I’m thinking of canceling the one I ordered and DIYing one. Where’d you find the tutorial? (you can email me all of this bc I know it’s super secret!) How’s everything else coming along?
