I mean.. did you honestly expect me to be naked? This is not that kind of blog. Move along!
We’re supposedly getting a cool front this weekend, which in Texas terms means that the high will be in the 90s and the low is in the 60s. I’ll take it though. Fall couldn’t get here soon enough! Although I do love me some skirts, I’m ready for cords, riding boots, scarves (!!!), and coats. Lots and lots of coats. But mostly I’m just excited about being able to spend some time outside without boiling to death. If you’ve never been to south Texas in the summer, imagine that burst of heat you feel when you open the oven after baking cookies. The one where you kind of wonder “are my glasses about to melt off my face?” except that it lasts for six months. Dramatic much? Duh. I’ve been avoiding all of my blogger friends who live in New York snapping instragram photos of the crisp autumn leaves they crunch on their way to work. I don’t even remember what an autumn leave sounds like. You hear that Fall? I’m ready to crunch leaves!
