This past week has be 100% team invitations. We’ve had an assembly line going since Friday night to hand address, line envelopes, apply vintage stamps, stamp return addresses, wait patiently for the invitations to arrive, and now we’re about 1/3 of the way through with hand cutting out the shapes of each invitation (which is 5 pages long) so needless to say, we’ve been busy! I can’t share any real photos of what everything looks like until after they’re sent out (Saturday!!) so in a couple of weeks I’ll have a full post sharing our crazy hand crafted invitations. That we’re a little obsessed with.
Moving on! I’ve officially selected every element for what I want our wedding party to wear and sent all of that info to our lovely bridesmaids and groomsmen. So this week I wanted to share what the ladies will be wearing. I mentioned here that we were able to score my inspiration dress for the bridesmaids from Kate Spade for such a deal! Now that the dress is chosen I’ve finally narrowed down the overall look for the day. I’m obsessed with color (I mean.. it’s kind of my life) so I wanted to incorporate each of my six colors in the girls’ looks. Since they’d be wearing such a classic black dress I assigned a color to each girl for them to wear in the form of tights. I know this may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it will be such a cute way to keep the girls warm in December while still looking fresh and modern.
THE DRESS: Kate Spade June dress [discontinued]
THE SHOES: I told the girls to choose any black shoe with some sort of bow, pouf, or sparkle like any of these.
THE ACCESSORIES: Each girl will be wearing their hair in a teased back pony with a bow headband. And any form of black and gold statement necklace.
THE TIGHTS: The bridesmaids will be wearing light pink, dark pink, orange, and yellow.

THE SHOES: For the MOH I wanted her to wear any black shoe with some sort of gold embellishment like these.
THE ACCESSORIES: The MOH will also be wearing her hair in a teased back pony with a bow headband. And to set her apart from the other girls I’ve asked her to wear a gold statement necklace. Because she’s fancy!
THE TIGHTS: The MOH will be wearing kelly green tights because it is my favorite color.
THE DRESS: I originally found this dress on OLHN in yellow, and quickly scoured the internets to find someone who could make one for me (because they were all sold out.. and a zillion dollars) I found this fabulous lady who will be making one for our flower girl in blue.
THE SHOES: For the flower girl I chose glittery black flats so that she would be comfortable all day.
THE ACCESSORIES: The flower girl will also be wearing a bow headband, but I can’t decide if her hair should be up or down because she has the prettiest long curls.
THE TIGHTS: Her tights will be white with black polkadots like these.
