I realize August and September look crazy but there is a lot to do before October gets here [the deadline for RSVPs] which is when the chaos really begins because we’ll have an exact headcount and anything that depends on that will be in full swing [like escort cards, place cards, seating arrangements, favors, centerpieces, welcome bags, napkin rings, etc.] That’s why we’re taking everything one week at a time. See you next Saturday with another weekly update! (or Monday for the normal blogging..)

wow you’re doing awesome, i am so overwhelmed with beginning mine, i don’t know if to hire a coordinator/planner or just do it all myself.

Thanks Liliana! I’m super OCD so I wanted to do all of the planning/decorations by myself, but I also hired a “day of” coordinator to help be sort of a ring leader of the day so that I can just sit back and relax while she handles any and all of the hiccups of the day. I guess it just depends on how much you want to tackle and how busy you are. I have a lot of help from my bridesmaids and parents so it has worked well for me :) Congrats on your engagement!
