Don’t get me wrong, I love Jcrew with all of my heart and soul, but lately their prices have been a little ridic, am I right? They have a sweater very similar to mine that I spotted in their fall catalogue for [wait for it..] $268 WHAT? I mean I know it’s cashmere but come on! It’s not magical cashmere spun with unicorn hairs or anything. Plus, I live in Texas and the only cashmere sweater I own is short sleeved, and I have probably worn it a total of two times. We just don’t need that kind of warmth down here. So when I found this baby at Old Navy  for $24.94, I grabbed it up quicker than you could say “holy polkadots!” because I’m pretty sure that is exactly what I said.. to myself as I sprinted to the checkout line. On my way the sales girl on the floor asked if I was finding everything okay. “You betcha!!!” I shrieked as I blew past her to the next register. I don’t know what it is about thrilling shopping excursions, but my midwestern roots start to surface. I blame my mam.
