I do realize I kind of stopped posting outfits every week, and the reasons were twofold: 1. It’s not very fun when you’re forced to do it [but now I'm not forced so it's fun again!] and 2. I really thought you guys were getting tired of it and cared more about the DIY stuff. But after several emails, side comments on the street, and carrier pigeons I have been informed that some of you really miss them! This surprised me so I dug a little deeper to find what exactly people loved about them so much and I think the best response was something like “you help me see my closet in a new way. I may not have the exact pieces you’re wearing, but I have something similar and it helps me look at my closet with fresh eyes” Awesome! That’s exactly what I had hoped to do.
The point of these isn’t to be all like “hey look at me and my clothes I’m SO awkward awesome!” Because let’s face it, I’m actually just really awkward. And honestly I started doing this in the first place because I too feel discouraged by my own closet. Every night before I go to bed I pick out my clothes for the next day and it takes me FOREVER [which is why I have to do it the night before]. I just get so tired of the same ol’ same ol, and experimenting with my clothes on these posts has helped me to look at my own closet in a whole new way, so the fact that I’m helping you guys do the same is just icing on the cake! So I’m up to my old tricks again, except this time they’ll have a little twist. So stay tuned!
Note: If you’re one of those people who just likes the DIY stuff then you can just skip Thursdays ;)
I am SOOOO glad my carrier pigeons worked! those suckers were getting expensive! ;)
You know what you just inspired me to do? Pick my clothes out the night before. I’ve NEVER done this except for events….which i’ve probably had my outfit planned for a few months prior ;) THANK YOU for bringing it back!…plus i get to see my whole friend once a week instead of her hand/arm/thigh/finger…like in the DIY posts! ;)

Well it’s hard not to when the boy behind the camera is yelling things like “cute puppies! hug the puppies!!” gets me every time :) Man everyday at my firm is bright pants/color block day!
