So I’ve been spending the last six days packing up my entire apartment, because well.. moving day is Saturday. I seriously have a ton of stuff. Like hoarders-will-be-calling-me-up-soon amount of stuff. The movers estimate that it will take them 3.3 hours to move me. Well they haven’t seen my ginormo pile of boxes in my dining room that happens to currently be spilling into my living room. I’ve even gotten rid of a bunch of things that I’ll be donating shortly, and yet the boxes keep piling and piling. There are three whole boxes just for ceramic animals, or “CA” as I like to label on my three boxes. More specifically “CA VERY FRAGILE DON’T DROP OR I’LL CRY”, no pressure Mr. Mover Man.
I also have about six boxes full of throw pillows. I’ve been collecting them over the years just so that when I move, I can carry the boxes filled with pillows while Mr. Mover Man carries the inconspicuous small yet extremely heavy boxes marked “BOOKS”.

Which moving company are you using? You’d be surprised how quick they can move! My mom is definitely a hoarder and they were able to move her in that amount of time. That was with making a stop at a storage unit before coming to my house too!
I hate moving because of the packing and unpacking but I love it because you have a new space to play with! Good job getting movers to do it.

I went with Two Men and a Truck! Who did you guys use? I had originally gone with Monster Movers because you got 3 guys for $15 extra/hr but I had never heard of them and the girl on the phone sounded like a space cadette so I switched to Two Men + Truck since I had heard of them before. Derek’s landlord used All My Sons and she said it took them 6 hours to move her from a first floor house to a second floor apt.. I’m moving from a 3rd floor to a 2nd floor.. I’m sure those stairs will eat up a lot of time :(

Thanks!! I was just thinking the same thing today. I never wear it down on Fridays but today I did and I can’t stop playing with it lol. I don’t know when to stop growing it out!!
