• Not being tall enough to wear a maxi dress. Even with my highest heels it still drags the ground. Crazytown.

• Every morning I fill up my water bottle when I get to work, and a particular tenant in my building likes to pee in private I suppose because she will wait for me to finish at the water fountain [I can see her peeking through her blinds], until I turn the corner and enter my office about 30 feet away. Then I’ll hear her door open, and the bathroom door open. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Really girl? You just got to work. How do you already have to pee?

• Co-worker who usually takes naps at his desk all day, is now trying to boss me around. 1. I don’t now nor will I ever work for you. 2. You’ve been here 5 months. 3. What’s your name again?

• Reps who take me out to lunch and treat it like a therapy sesh. I just met you. I do not have advice on how to raise your teenage boys. Can I haz dessert?

• People who bring their dogs to weird places. I ate my meal with puppy dog eyes about 2 feet from my face. Had it been my dog, I would have given it a bite, but since it was a stranger’s dog, I just guiltily ate while he inched closer and closer and watched my fork move from my cake to my mouth over and over.

• Today is September 1st. What the what? This basically means it’s almost Christmas, so you should probably start shopping now ..what?

• Surprising my parents last weekend with a spur of the moment visit to north Texas. Don’t worry, it’s just as hot up there.

• Scoring a brand new table for my entryway for $1.13! Okay, so my mom called to clarify Monday night after this post, that the table cost THEM $1.13, it cost me nothing. Thanks dad for picking up the tab and refusing to let me spend my $2 bill. Yes, I carry around a $2 bill. Don’t be jealous.

• Getting a super awesome email from Warby Parker personally thanking us for our post! I think I literally squealed when I saw it. Thanks WP! We love what you’re doing. It was also great hearing from all of you guys and how we introduced you to WP. Keep up the ocular love my friends. It really is the gift that keeps giving!

• Glee 3D. There I said it.

• Discovering there is a secret movie theatre tucked away in a neighborhood about 2 seconds from my apartment that shows NEW movies for $5 on Tuesdays! Whaaaaa? Not $13? Done.

• Derek’s parents are coming to hang out for Labor Day weekend! And they’re bringing the puppies! Everyone wins!
