- Making 16,000 trips to Lowe’s and local hardware stores trying to find the random specific screws used to mount Derek’s TV to it’s base. Long story short, they do not exist ..what?
- The random patrons who frequent The Flying Saucer on a Saturday night. If you’re up for a rousing game of Your Team, then this is the place for you. The closer you are to the patio the more awesome people get.
- One of my clients. Have you read these? Mine is twice as crazy. I could have a weekly series full of stories, but you wouldn’t believe the things that come out of their mouth.
- The Taco Cabana at Hildebrand and San Pedro. AKA the original Taco Cabana. Their entire “parking lot” is parking spaces. No where to drive, or turn, or do anything but get trapped. Should you try the drive through? Good luck. It’s not connected to the parking lot. It’s a street over. I don’t know how many times I drove in circles around that intersection before I figured it out. Only to discover that they didn’t sell Big Red, or Barq’s Red Cream Soda, or any form of red-fizzy-high-sugar drinks! Never going back.
- Waking up late to remember that I should have gotten gas the night before. Oops. Luckily I only live 2 seconds from work.
- Derek was just as excited about the furniture in Tron Legacy as I was. I mean, they have clear acrylic Louis XV settees upholstered in black harlequin leather. Who wouldn’t be excited?

- Being able to walk to Hemisfair Park tonight to watch Angels in the Outfield, rather than driving.
- My new obsession with Switched at Birth. I even taught myself how to sign the alphabet in an hour! Now if only Derek knew it so that we could spell secret things to each other at dinner.
- There is an exciting opportunity that we may or may not have on the horizon. Stay tuned..
- Walking through King William, holding hands, and commenting on the architecture of the one hundred year old houses in the neighborhood.
- Is it just me or is this week flying by? Maybe it’s because I have a huge deadline Friday, but it sure seems to be whizzing by.
- All seasons of Mad Men are on Netflix now. Hello marathon. I swear I was born in the wrong decade.
- My white skinny jeans came in. Now I don’t have droopy drawer syndrome. Yippee!
What are some awkward/awesome things that have happened to you this week? Embracing the awkward makes you awesome!

Love the white pants, everytime i find them at forever 21 they don’t have my size :/ wahhhhhh. This week is flying by for me too…by the way, i know what the exciting opportunity is! :D Hurry up and post pics of dereks new place I CANT WAIT I PEE MY PANTS.

Idk I was all for Daphne from the beginning, but then the whole speaking thing gave me chills so now I’m all for Bay. I like Wilke! Except he seems to have baggage with the whole gambling thing, and telling people to break into schools lol Emmet needs a clone! He’s like a deaf James Dean ….what?
