We’re continuing with our series featuring some of the creative people that we know. Every Tuesday we will introduce them as they share with us the ten things they can’t live without. And this month, we’ve decided to feature our parents! Get ready for lots of embarrassing pictures of us from when we were little, as well as getting a little glimpse of where we came from. Today we are introducing the father of the boy, professional photographer, guitarist, model car collector and lover of airplanes Dan Klepac [@daklepac].
Location: Houston, TX

[one] faith & family
Being together, gathering together, sharing experiences of events, food, travel and visual(film, television & live performance).

[two] music
Education, listening, and playing, are important parts of support in the maintenance of my faith. Classical, Ethnic (varies), Classic/Pop Rock, Grunge Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, only some Country, Christian-Religious in especially practicing and participation. Supplemental portion: Guitars, Amps & Gear Accessories – Gibson, Fender, Martin, Vox, independent Boutique amps and effects pedals. Enjoying the research, sampling and the continuation of practice and learning.

[three] dark chocolate
Whatever is available at the time.

[four] starbucks
Fresh brewed, Toffee Nut Latte, Salted-Caramel Hot Chocolate.

[five] photography & art
I am always in continuous search of the ever elusive outstanding image to capture. I have a great appreciation of quality images of many subjects and media, photography, painting, pencils, charcoal, sculpture, etc. I enjoy capturing the image of illusion, regardless of media.

[six] classic sci-fi, history, discovery films, & tv
Star Trek (television series and films), The Twilight Zone (original series), The Outer Limits(original – sometimes the new series), and numerous Sci-Fi films new and old.

[seven] DIY
I enjoy building projects and solving problems with clever solutions.

[eight] vintage custom cars & motorcycles
I have built two high performance cars in years past. I enjoy watching programing on performance vehicles, the construction of performance vehicles, both for power and efficiency and now with the concerns of fuel availability and the means of needed change.

[nine] vintage aircraft (military or otherwise)
You must keep the history alive, especially to remember those men and women that made sacrifices to the wellbeing of our lives and our freedom.

[ten] model building
I built models as a kid many years ago. Then a number of years ago got back into building again, then taking another building pause. Now with the current stock of kits and materials, I would like to start building again. Cars, aircraft, armor, ships and Sci-Fi.

Stay tuned for text Tuesday when we feature our dear friend and fashionista, ballroom dancer, design guru, thrift enthusiast, avid reader, cheese connoisseur and blogger of In a Clutch Lucky Rouse.
Until next time!
