We’re continuing with our series featuring some of the creative people that we know. Every Tuesday we will introduce them as they share with us the ten things they can’t live without. And this month, we’ve decided to feature our parents! Get ready for lots of embarrassing pictures of us from when we were little, as well as getting a little glimpse of where we came from. Today we are introducing the mother of the boy, professional photographer, amazing chef, New Orleanian, Beagle enthusiast, and veggie growing extraordinaire Edwina Klepac.
Location: Houston, TX

[one] faith
First and foremost faith is what keeps me going at all times, good and bad.

[two] family and friends
Always there, always fun.

[three] retirement
I always planned to work somewhere else after retirement, but I’m having too much fun with travel, bus trips, photography and of course FACEBOOK.

[four] food network
My favorite channel.

[five] beagles
They are the most loving and sweet dogs.

[six] photography
Photography has always been a theme in our family. I was introduced to my husband by a former photography student working with this cute medical photographer. Thanks MaryAnn! And of course our son, Derek has continued with Nikon and photography.

[seven] iPad
I am never far away from my iPad and Apps, although Derek keeps telling me it is not a computer! It does a pretty good job of it.

[eight] crawfish
I can’t get enough of it. I just wish it was still forty-nine cents a pound. OK, that was a few years ago.

[nine] herbs
There is nothing like cooking with fresh herbs. Homemade pesto is the best.

[ten] national parks
Camping and hiking in the National Parks is great exercise and always a photo event.

Stay tuned for text Tuesday when we feature the father of the girl, photographer, antique military paraphernalia collector, muscle car restorer, model train builder Mark Stevens.
Until next time!

haha i love how you included retirement!
