We’re continuing with our series featuring some of the creative people that we know. Every Tuesday we will introduce them as they share with us the ten things they can’t live without. Today we are introducing our dear friend and film maker, musician, apple geek and snowboarding extraordinaire Colin Smith.

[one] ollie

I didn’t realize that I had a huge hole in my life until it was filled with my best friend, Ollie. Waking up to your dog licking your face is where it at.

[two] family

I was so busy with sports and music growing up that I wasn’t particularly close with my family. Now that I’ve had several years away from home, Im realizing more and more each day how amazing my family is and what great friends they have become to me. I am blessed to have them.

[three] apple

The people, the products, the culture. I dove head first into this company about 18 months ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have made friendships that I will keep forever because of this company. It has changed the way I live my day to day life. One word: Revolution.

[four] harry potter books

When I was 18, a friend encouraged me to read the books (after having been pressured before and resisting) and I finally gave in. I loved them! It actually sparked a new interest in reading for me. And that leads us to…..

[five] books

Since finding my love for reading in college, I have become a book junkie. I almost always have 2 books in progress.

[six] snowboarding

Heaven is fresh powder on a blue bird day. I want to do it every day of my life. If you haven’t done it, you have no idea what kind of joy you are missing out on.

[seven] star trek

This is my go to. When I just want to sit, Star Trek is the friend I want to sit with. Any series, any movie, any day. I will go toe-to-toe with anyone on Star Trek trivia. Yes, that is a challenge.

[eight] tasty brew

Few things can satisfy like a finely brewed beer. I love going to microbrews, or places the specialize in craft beers. It is always a lot of fun discovering one of those no name breweries that makes great beer.

[nine] live music

Whether playing or just watching, live music heals the soul. No matter how bad of a day I have had, going to see a local band at a dive bar always makes me feel better. Support your local music scene!

[ten] jeans

All day every day. Truth.
