A few weekends ago, we got the chance to shoot the home of Lauren Haskett from Material Girls Blog. Lauren was needing some images for the launch of her new website Lauren Hasket – Fine Design. Having never done a project exactly like this it was a bit nerve-wracking. Catharine and I even argued a little about it cause she really wanted to do it, but I was apprehensive.

Once we were there it was awesome. Catharine helped arrange and stage the rooms a lot, which helped set up the place nicely. Lauren had already staged a lot with her mother-in-law, but here and there Catharine saw some things that needed some love. We did big shots of each room, along with several vignettes to highlight the details.

After this experience, we are REALLY excited about shooting more and trying to market ourselves as a team; she stages, and I’ll shoot. So if you know any realtors, interior designers, or architects… let us know! I’m also very open to shooting buildings for architects or builders should it come up.
